Etta Bond and Rosie Matheson prove once more why they’re a creative force to be reckoned with.
With so many wannabe video producers in the making, it feels like we’re not far off from cutting music out of the equation altogether. Thank the lord that’s not the case with this one! Etta Bond delivers with a soft but firm sound (as usual) and can be seen having her head shaven through out the video – complete with custom ‘ETTA BOND’ slides.
The track is notoriously easy to listen to and Rosie’s visuals only push that feeling along. Warm reds and a good handful of well selected slow-mo shots draw you into what is a very simple yet effective visual.
It’s been a tough year for the Cambridge born vocalist who issued a statement via the web on her battle with mental health. The post ends with:
“I’m back, and I’m not leaving. I love you all, from the bottom of my heart. And once again, thank you. #mentalhealthcomesfirst”
It’s always important to remember that no one in life is able to avoid problems with their health. Broken leg or waves of feeling low, none of us can escape poor health. Etta (in my personal opinion), has done the right thing in highlighting her struggle.
It helps her listeners understand that everyone and anyone can be affected even those within the music industry. Something that’s been touched on by a number of artists recently.
We wish her all the best in surpassing this marker in her life and look forward to a whole bunch of new music!
